December 13-23, 2011: Paul ended the year playing General Waverly in a limited engagement run of the stage musical White Christmas at the recently opened Lone Tree Arts Center, located in a southeast Denver suburb.
April 21, 2011: Paul returned to his family in Denver. "There's no place like home."

January 22, 2011: Paul decided that, after living and performing for 22 years in the Denver area, it was time to relocate back to New York City to "jump start" his career there.
Also in December, Paul was nominated for "Best Year for an Actor" by the Denver Post for their annual Ovation Awards. He was equally excited - and appropriately proud! - that his son Zach was nominated for "Theatre Person of the Year" for directing and producing an "It Gets Better" PSA featuring members of the Colorado theatre community. November 26, 2010: Paul opened in his third show for the Aurora Fox Theatre Company this year: Red Ranger Came Calling, based on an illustrated book by cartoonist Berkeley Breathed. Paul is seen below at right with Rebekah Lancaster, Kellie Rockey and Liam Speros as the "Old Timers."

September 18-26: Paul played Howard Cunningham ("Mr. C") in a limited run of Paul Williams and Gary Marshall's stage musical adaptation of the TV series Happy Days at Stapleton's Founders Green amphitheatre in Denver.

July 29-August 8, 2010: Paul returns to the music of Belgian composer Jacques Brel once again in a limited engagement run of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris at the Cabrini Cafe.
May 7, 2010: Dietrich & Chevalier opens at Miners Alley Playhouse, with Paul as Maurice Chevalier, Mari Carlin Dart (seen below) as Marlene Dietrich and Eric Mather as "Everyone Else." The show runs through June 20. www.minersalley.com

March 29, 2010: Paul begins rehearsal at Miners Alley Playhouse for Jerry Mayer's Dietrich & Chevalier. Paul was honored to be given the chance to portray the great French icon Maurice Chevalier opposite Mari Carlin Dart (below left) as Dietrich. The play is directed by El Armstrong.

February 12, 2010: Paul enjoyed opening The Graduate to a full and enthusiastic house at the Aurora Fox Arts Center. The show ran though March 14. Paul is seen below center as Mr. Robinson with Seth Rossman and Pamela Cliton as the Braddocks. See Paul's Theatre page for more info!
January 2010: Paul started the new year going into rehearsal for the role of Mr. Robinson in the stage adaptation of The Graduate at the Aurora Fox Theatre. The show is slated to open on February 12.
November-December 2009: Paul sang for his 8th season with the Original Dickens Carolers. Click here to see a five minute clip from one of their mall appearances.
August 9, 2009: Paul was delighted and honored to perform a one-night only concert of the music of Jacques Brel to commemorate the retirement of Denver's Theatre in the Park program. Paul is seen below at right with Brian Merz-Hutchinson, Erica Sarzin-Borrillo and Michelle Merz-Hutchinson.

February 3- March 8, 2009: Paul played the role of wealthy landowner and primary witch accuser Thomas Putnam in Arthur Miller's The Crucible at the Arvada Center. It was a highly satisfying experience for Paul and the show was sold out the final week of the run. Paul is seen below with Leslie O'Carroll as Ann Putnam.

November 25-December 28, 2008: Paul played the roles of Tom Bailey (George's father) and Mr. Carter (the bank examiner) in the stage musical adaptation of the classic film It's a Wonderful Life at the Arvada Center. Paul is seen below as Tom Bailey with Daniel Fosha as George Bailey.

October 10-November 3, 2008: Paul has a successful run as Andrew Wyke in Anthony Shaffer's Sleuth, produced by Firehouse Theater Company at the John Hand Theatre in Denver. Paul is seen below with Chris Bleau as Milo Tindle.

August 29, 2008: Paul and 12 Angry Men director Linda Suttle were interviewed on KOSI Radio's morning show. Seen below is Paul with co-hosts Murphy Houston and Denise Plant.

August 29, 2008: 12 Angry Men opened at the John Hand Theatre in Denver, produced by Spotlight Theatre Company. Paul also began rehearsals for Sleuth and survived the Democratic National Convention being in Denver the same week!

August 2, 2008: Paul played the role of Phil Jones in the independent short film Dig, produced by Cinema Geeks as part of the 48-Hour Film Project. Click here to watch it!
March 11, 2008: Paul shot a national commercial with a principal role for Perkins Pancake House. It didn't go on the air for nearly a year.
February 15-March 15, 2008: Paul enjoyed playing the role of Mr. Vincent in the world premier of Josh Hartwell's Contrived Ending in a short run at the Buntport Theatre in Denver, produced by Conundrum Productions. Paul is seen below with Jeremy Make as Nathan.

January 2008: Paul receives both a Marlowe Award and a Spotlight Award as Best Actor in a Drama 2007 for his work in Deathtrap.
December 31, 2007: Paul joined several fellow Denver actors in a special, one night only performance of the one act plays "Diddley Sqwat" and "Eunice & Hibiscus" at the Playwright Theatre in Denver. He is seen below as King Naughtyass with Deborah Persoff as Queen Flirtnude.

August 3-18, 2007: Next Stage presents a remount of their award-winning 2005 production of Sondheim and Weidman's Assassins. Paul played the role of Charles Guiteau and had a ball!

July 25, 2007: The independent feature film The Vessel had its world premier at the AMC Theater in Flatirons Crossing in Broomfield, Colorado. Paul has a featured role as Father David.
June 18, 2007: Paul reads the role of Lonnie in a staged reading of Terry Dodd's play, Dusk to Dawn at the Sunset, produced by the Colorado Theater Guild as part of their New Play Series. The sold out event took place at the newly refurbished Crossroads Theater in downtown Denver.
April 17-May 13, 2007: Paul played the "comic relief" role of Mr. McIlhenny in the Arvada Center's production of Sondheim & Rodgers' Do I Hear a Waltz?

January 12-March 3, 2007: Paul enjoys chewing the scenery as Sidney Bruhl in Deathtrap at Miners Alley Playhouse, despite receiving very little press coverage!
